Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the largest branches of engineering. The technology of electronics and communication helps us to see, hear and communicate over vast distances and do things faster. Electronics has a major role in improving productivity in industries like oil, energy, agriculture and so many other important sectors of economy.

The department of Electronics & Communication engineering was established in the year 2010 and constantly strives to produce qualified engineers with solid hands on experience in the fast changing areas of electronics, instrumentation and communication Engineering. The Labs are equipped with several electronic equipments such as CROs, Function Generators, and Universal Trainer boards, various experimental kits, breadboards, wave generators, digital ICs, power supplies, and display devices.

The department has a group of highly qualified and dynamic faculty members in the field of electronics and communication, VLSI technology and design, wireless and mobile communication, radar and microwave engineering. The department has modern laboratory equipments in the areas of Circuit Design, Embedded Systems, Robotics, Digital Signal processing and Intelligent Instrumentation.

The objective of course is to provide a solid foundation in core and emerging areas of electronics and trains students to become a skilled engineer.

Electronics and Telecommunication engineering is the most sought after career option for engineering aspirants. Fresh graduates of electronics and telecommunication engineering find quite good jobs in electronics and telecommunication sectors.

An electronics engineer can get a job in Central Government, State Governments and their sponsored corporations in public enterprises like All India Radio, Indian Telephone Industries, MTNL, National Physical Laboratories, Civil Aviation Department; Post and Telegraph Department, Co-ordination Department, Bharat Electronics Limited and few other government undertakings. The private companies offer excellent pay-packages to skilled and experienced electronics professionals.
